Role of National Centre of Excellence (NCoE) Incubation Program in Supporting Security Startups

With a vision to make India a global reference for cyber security research, innovation, and entrepreneurship, the National Centre of Excellence offers a world-class cybersecurity startup incubation program with academia-industry connect.

NCoE is a joint initiative by the Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY) and Data Security Council of India (DSCI) to create future unicorns by accelerating the momentum of cybersecurity research & innovation through effective collaboration between the industry, academia & government. The cybersecurity incubator has incubated 33 startups and supporting 100 more with 27 mentors & 23 academic partners.

NCoE offers three types of incubations programs for startups, these are as follows:

  1. Security startups with an idea that need an incubation space.

  2. A program for entrepreneurs & aspiring founders with expertise but do not have any startup idea or office space.

  3. Startups with their own spaces but are seeking virtual support.

Cybersecurity startups can join the leading incubation program to leverage their well-suited physical infrastructure, mentor network, technical facilities and networking opportunities to skyrocket their growth & be successful.
